Affinity

The Affinity system refers to a progression model where Heroes choose a particular elemental affinity that suits their class. Choosing an elemental affinity is a crucial part of hero progression. Each Affinity will improve a particular combination of attributes and it will be up to the players to figure out which affinity is the best for their chosen class. There are 5 Base Affinities: 1. Water 2. Fire 3. Wind 4. Earth 5. Lightning Each affinity has 100 levels, with each level having a cost of resources to progress denominated in CP and in the later levels, CP and PN. Affinity levels also require a minimum Hero Level to achieve. Once a player has reached affinity level 100, they are then able to choose a second affinity and begin leveling that from 1 - 100. Once the player has reached level 100 on the second affinity, they are then able to combine them into an advanced affinity. These advanced affinities are shown below for each combination:

Base level Affinities increase the base attributes of each Hero, each Affinity will focus on a particular set of attributes, which makes some Affinities only viable for some classes and completely non-viable for others, at least in the Base form. Advanced affinities are vastly more powerful in both the passive boosts that they give to the player as well as it provides access to Loot that can only be equipped by Heroes of that affinity.

Loot can also come with an Affinity tied to it that brings with it a stat bonus if worn by a Hero of the same affinity.
